My daughter/son would like to play volleyball. Is there a club that they can join?

There are currently four clubs in Hampshire with dedicated junior programs that you can enquire with:

• New Forest Volleyball are based across the New Forest, and run a number of sessions aimed at various age groups with a dedicated Junior Academy and a juniors satellite club. You can contact them at [email protected] for more information.
  
  
• South Hants Volleyball Club are based around Fareham and Portsmouth, and run two sessions aimed at under 18s:
  • South Hants Falcons is aimed at 12-16 year olds with training sessions on Wednesday 6:30-8:00pm during term times at Cams Hill School. Contact Ryan on [email protected].
  • South Hants Juniors is aimed at 10-16 year olds with training sessions on Saturdays 10:00-12-noon at Horndean Technology College. Contact Bev on [email protected].
  
  
• URBOND are based in Portsmouth and run sessions for multiple age groups: 8-10,11-15 and 15-18.
  
  
• Winchester Eagles Volleyball Club run a session aimed at school years 6, 7 and 8 (under 14s) on Saturdays between 9:30 - 10:30am at Winchester Sport and Leisure Park, and are looking to expand to other age ranges. You can contact them at [email protected] for more information.
  
  

Further afield, there is Newbury Volleyball Club and Salisbury Volleball Club.

I've never played volleyball before. Can I join?

Your best route is to find a club close to you and contact them about joining. Most, if not all of the clubs in Hampshire welcome beginners and even if they don't then they usually know a club that does nearby. You can find your nearest club on our clubs page.
